Other characters: Hunter, druid, druid, (yes, 2 druids), priest, lock, warrior (yes, 2 warriors) and rogue. All lvl 70 in blues and epics.

Hello! I am a 18 y old boy from Norway and would like to apply to your guild:)
I started the game agian around christmas but failed to find a suiting guild
on my server, which is kazzak. I saw there is a free migration up so I thought i'dd
check out what guilds require tanks and I find your guild pretty fitting for me.

My previous wow xp is exactly up to your downing list. Pre TBC I did alot of bosses in naxx. I have been playing this game almost non stop since release, with a couple of breaks the latter year due to final exams e.t.c.

In face of wiping I tend to look bright on things, since I do not mind wiping. (Those who can't stand repair bills should qq and quit pve)


My attendance tends to be high. I am used to having atleast 80% of the raids attended. If I meet up for a raid and no spot is offered, I usualy chill outside the instance ready to take a spot.

I attend my second year at "videregåande", which is almost equilient to high school.
My classes does not require alot of out of classroom work, so I tend to have long evenings with nothing to do. I do have a part time job at a restaurant, but I only work every other weekend, but does not take that much time. It's just to have some extra money to spend.


I've been in a couple of guilds this far in the game and only quit one. (due to taking a break). So I am hopinh for a long stay in Dawn.

My goal within wow is to ofc progress in the game, but what makes wow special to me is the team effort it takes.

Gear seems good, misses tank sword (wont be a prob imo, heroic mech, chess event or hydross and thats solved), also not font of your shield! But also fast fixed with shield from rep or BOJ.

For the rest gear, gems and enchants seem good so i personally say take for trial!

Yeah, been working on shield and sword for ages:P Never seen kings/mech/tides drop. Same thing with the shields.

The t2 swordsmith sword is actually a pretty good tanking sword. Hit rating, agi, alot of stam and it is fast. You can also upgrade ith with Nether Vortexes to a even better one. Got mast for mongoose in the bank:P Just need my 2 last primal nethers.

The aldor shield isn't rly much better. I did some theory crafting to see the diffrence. It may be slightly better, but I would prio getting the sword upgraded first, since it is a bigger upgrade overall.

Your defence rating needs to be 490+ to make you crit immune. re-gem some gear to build it up or get a tank sword and shield

I am crit immune due to the recilience on my shield:)

Bear in mind that 39.4 resilience rating is equal to a 1% crit reduction, and may be substituted for 60 defense rating, or 25 defense

Ill do the math:

479 defense rating: 5.15% to be critted
+ 29 recilience = 0.74% crit

which equals: 5.89% reduced chance to be crit.

Bosses have 5.6% crit which makes me crit immune:)

I do take things like this into consideration:P

EDIT: Ofc getting more defense rating would be better then the recilience, but at the time being i can't find a shield that makes up for the armor and stamina this one has. So when I got it at suddently had more then needed reduced chance to be crit. So I changed the defense sockets for dodge/stamina. Changing sockets later will not be a prob since I am quite the chinese when it comes to farming stuff.

You have a very common missunderstanding of game mechanics

resilience reduces the dmg you take from a critical strike. it does not make you crit immune. thats what defence rating is for

Demon come make a alt on Kul'Tiras and say hi. Im only on 3 or 4 nights a week. although i didnt quit playing i have reduced the amount of time i spend playing. i'll be on tonight but raiding from 8pm server time. And i wont be on with my warrior so add Kasteen to FL

Noticed a odd thing as well that im sure is just a error but on armory it does not you you, Kay, Moonraven and a couple of other's as still being in Dawn

Well, pretty sure you are wrong there.

It is true that it reduced Dmg taken from crits, but it also reduced the actual chance to be critted.

If you look on armory here and hold over "recilience" you will see this: Decreaces chance of enemy scoring a critical hit on you by 0.74%

I currently have the 3 parts of NR plate items. (got recipe for the FFR and the NR aswell)
