dont skip this guy

as i understand some members of the guild want to skip Magtheridon and the reasons i have been told are that he has no good drops. So no one wants T4 chest?

Mag is a pure dps fight, with a simple cube clicking moments during the fight. Once we have learned how to down him the entire encounter including his trash is 45 mins tops so we can very easily kill grull, then Mag and see if we have time for another attempt on VR

I feel we have jumped the gun by going to The Eye so early. we have had several good attempts but all classes are still missing gear and Mag can give us a boost. he also drops his head which can be handed in to HH for a very good healing ring. a must for all our healers

Totally agree with u drala thats right.... many ppl need better gear.... including me ofc... I need several drops from kara...

if you use Atlas Loot addon you can check the rings you can get. The head can be exchanged for healing/caster dps/melee dps/tank ring. but the healing rings are the better ones

Totaly agree on it... but i have different reasoning in mind. The fight requires the coordinated work of the whole raid, which is something we have to master if we want to have progress. Alot of classes have to do specific job to get it done - locks (atleast 3-4 of them) then all classes that can interrupt MUST NOT let heal go off. The DPS have to be able to take 3-4 summoners before Mag is lose. Its not easily done. And the loot is actualy good...

Ppl dont think that just becosue u can get S1 from honour T4 is not that good. For example T4 chest for me is maybe even better then S3 chest i have (not to mentoin ill socket it diferently).

As Dralasi said... once we know what to do its 45m (even 30 imho ) work, which can easily be done after Gruul raid, and VR is alot of trash for 4-5 attempts on him (considering he is still progress for us).

Sry i got carried away from the topic but imho SSC is whare we should be looking atm (after we do mag).

About rings rew of killing this boss (rogue ring), it is a crap, but for healadini, priestohealeri, healomani and panzer classes etc etc, ar relly gret.
Anyway Magg it is final boss for stage 1 of Tbc, don't lock at him same a shit, bcouse killing him we will learn how to kill rest of 3 end bosses.
True it is relly hard but can be relly easy if Vent and DBM ar ON, and btw this boss req ppl with a clean brain, ppl rested.

Well if most ppl feel like this then i think we should try him wensday after we 1 shotted Gruul again!!

So read up on him all i guess and if da boss agrees then we go for maggy.

No offence to the SSC part, but imo VR on 10% is like killing him, so we should give him a try to on thursday or friday same as maybe Lurker in SSC if VR goes smooth!!

But i leave that up to the boss.

Im ready for 2 25 man raid days on wensday/thursday/friday so let me know what and when and i'm gonna read up to Maggy, Lurker and Hydross!!
